Homebrew strikes back.

I almost forgot The Gorillaz have a new album too.

I saw this cooling system on slashdot. Someone else commented that it was almost like a swamp cooler or almost like .. something else I forget =)

Because people like this idea the site's been hit pretty hard. Coral Cache is a project that uses distributed servers to serve a copy of web-pages while keeping them up to date and current. They describe it better. It's an NYU project.

Here's the Coral …

They're opening up a commerce bank down the block.

I'm happy about the commerce bank being built down the block. The private parking lot was nice and all, and I did enjoy looking at the converted pig box that used to serve as a delivery.. vehicle, but I think the bank will be a lot more useful. I'll be able to walk down the block to count my change for free. (oh and do banking and things)

I was looking for a link on the penny arcades but I found nothing that just showed what it was (it counts the…

Is It Normal?

Is it normal?

It's got a lot of obvious fakes, but sometimes there's something you always wondered about, or something you wish nobody ever wondered about.

Most of it is kids trying to figure out stuff, not exactly reading for this audience, it's just nice to see a site like this.

It's going to take over the world.

A long long time ago in a house about 2 blocks away My friend Chris and I were playing a fun little game called Starship Titanic. It boasted wonderful features such as the ability to verbally abuse the robots running around the doomed spaceship by typing to them.

(You could look in the game files and find the word list of words that the robots really didn't want to hear.)

It was really simple, it didn't even catch permutations of words. But it wa…

Mc Frontalot in NYC

Wednesday May 11th, 2005 MC Frontalot will be playing at The Slipper Room located right here in New York.

Directions
"We're big, we're pink and we'll be on your right."

MC Frontalot is an indy rapper who spawned the Nerd Core Hip Hop movement... everywhere. He's probably the only one fronting these indie rhymes and funky beats. In fact he's so indie that his shirt don't fit.

I mean, he makes me wonder out loud, 'frontalot yo why you come so ill-e…

Sweet Toys

There's gonna make a line of action figures based off of the "cult move" Napoleon Dynamite.

Ever since that postcard link... I've been thinking about it..

Anyway, Two new albums.

Highlight for Album: London Tower

Highlight for Album: Tower Bridge

There's a sniping game my friend Andrew likes that features the Tower Bridge. I tried to cover the angles from the game. ;-)

The london tower by the way isn't a tower, it's a castle.

How good is your mind?

I got this link of off Digg today. But don't go there, it link to this other site, and I'll bet dollars to donuts that it's got popups and spyware and all the mess. Instead I'll recreate the "test" here.

(It's not really a good idea to do things like this, especially if your going to be copy and pasting a bunch but I think I can do better then the other blogger, the adsite, and the university website together)

So you think you can count? I'm goin…

I've got a drafted post I didn't like how I started

I've got a post I wrote half of that I'll probably rewrite before I finally post it that comes right before this one. (Well, it will probably end up after this one, but eh)

Anyway, instead of enlighting you to my wonderful adverntures fighting credit card fraud, or buying a van load of lumber, or driving down to Glassboro to have dinner at a diner, or all the other things (including making diner for me and my friends). I'm just going to do a link…

Stop All The Downloads

I did a 180 in the space of one and a half lanes. I love driving in light snow. Not hellish deep snow I vowed never to drive again with (at all ever noun noun verb noun).

By the way a 180 being a U-Turn.

I had my 21st birthday the other night and people are still staying over at my house to go home monday morning. This has been a really good birthday, complete with a Chinese dinner I don't remember, pool, Jazz, ping pong, a wonderful italian dinn…

Bulletproof Cupid

(Bulletproof Cupid by Placebo is quite a nice instrumental song. Makes a nice opening track to their album Sleeping With Ghosts. Which has a really. striking album cover.)

Bulletproof Networks.
I've been reading up on vpns. Secure networks over insecure networks. Instead of paying lots of money for a secure line to your office you can use a cheep internet connection that is hardly secure. But over this insecure connection you can start another co…

Pack your bags (we're going on a guilt trip)

So this guy creates a hack that dumps the firmware on the new ipod's through it's little pizzo speaker. (The one that makes the chirps and beeps, not the head phones) He wrote a computer program to listen and turn it back into binary. He didn't know enough to get the firewire/usb port to work, but this served his purpose.

So some guy responds with, "Could you please stop being silly and instead try and do something worth while. We're still lookin…
