I don’t get my haircut a lot, nor do I shave often. So by popular request here’s me.

Fighting Insomnia

“Insomnia the chronic inability to fall and remain asleep affects roughly 20 percent of American adults. Here are some tips to get a better night’s sleep.”



Here are a few of my favorites.

  • Although it’s tempting to use liquor as a cure for chronic sleeplessness, be warned: Liquor is quite expensive.
  • Getting more exercise can help combat insomnia. If you suffer from sleeplessness, try shuffling from the bed to the kitchen, opening and shutting the refrigerator door, and shuffling back to bed.
  • If you are going to take pills to help you sleep, be sure you take enough to knock yourself out. Watching Good Morning America while sleep-deprived and tranquilized is a hellish experience.
  • Use your bed for sleeping only. Conduct all reading, eating, phone calls, and sexual relations on the kitchen table.
  • If you got less than three hours of sleep the previous night, it’s important to inform everyone you meet of that fact all day long.
  • Remember: Insomnia is only a problem if you are employed or have a reason to live.

Claus Fest IV

I had the pleasure to attend the fourth Claus Fest last night. Oh boy I had fun.

I missed Chevelle and Papa Roach, franzferdiand was good but challenged peoples masculinity and got booed, Jimmy Eat World surprisingly rocked the stage, I saw them 2 years ago and they really sucked, Korn kicked everybody’s asses and did a sweet cover of “The Wall” - they were also a good excuse to shove people around, jump up and down, and make a dash for the stage, and then it ended with Velvet Revolver who really didn’t fit with the crowd at all. They also sucked. I had left after Korn and went back in to try to crowd surf during Velvet Revolver but the crowd… they weren’t inspired enough.

*yawn*

A mash pit is the only place where it’s socially acceptable to violently shove, hit (still pisses people off), and throw the people around you. I can’t say I dove right in the middle and got my ass kicked, but I get shoved in a bunch and I did my fare share of shoving. It was fun.

I should say more. But… go to your own concert.

“Dream On”

For some reason I tend to veer away from Aerosmith these days, but today I got a request for “Dream On” and gladly played it. It’s nice once in a while.

My good friend Jason (who’s portfolio is growing) decided on a whim to take my wiki logo and turn it into a new look for roborooter. We both decided that the robot’s colors were ugly (be glad you didn’t see) but I really liked the new layout. Before I could get a proper nap on the couch, Jason had whipped up this newer, cleaner, Roborooter.
